Kailash Yatra Preparation Exercise

To prepare for Kailash Parikrama walk / trek, please focus on physical fitness (cardio, leg/core strength, lungs, endurance training with weighted packs), gear preparation (broken-in boots, layers, essentials), nutrition & hydration (water, balanced diet, snacks), and mental readiness (Meditation, pacing, research) for a successful Kailash trip, starting months ahead with gradual increases in intensity and distance. To make the most of this program, starting an exercise regime at least 3 month prior to the Kailash journey is highly advisable. We at Earthbound Expeditions strongly recommend you to do a daily walking or jogging about 5 km or 3 miles, that makes your leg / muscle stronger.

A daily practice of Yoga, breathing exercise or Pranamaya aso recommended that makes your body flexible and lungs stronger. For Kailash Yatra a Physical and mental fitness is essential as you will be traveling to a region of high altitude and extreme weather conditions – roof of the world!
