How is Visa for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra handled who is traveling from Lhasa direct ?
For those who travelling to Kailash Mansarovar region via Lhasa Tibet also we need China Visa and military travel permit. You need to send us at least 6 months valid passport in advance. We will proceed for Visa and you can get China visa at your home country ( UK, USA, Australia, where ever you are).  Don’t mention you going to Tibet when getting China visa please. Once you get China visa  you send us the copy of China visa and with that we will apply Tibet military travel permit. Then when you travel to Lhasa via Shanghai, Beijing or Chengdu we will deliver Tibet travel permit there at your hotel. Please plan to stay one night in one of those cities Shanghai, Beijing or Chengdu before you fly to Lhasa as we have to send you original Tibet travel permit there, with out that document you can’t fly to Lhasa. Once you are in Lhasa we will receive you there and start the journey.  ( we can also help with your hotel, flight in those cities if need help).
After Kailash mansarovar Yatra if you are travelling via Kathmandu to your home country then you need Nepal visa, which you can get upon arrival at Nepal boarder.
